Our Team
For both surgical and non-surgical weight loss programs, there is a full-team of doctors, nurses, counselors and medical professionals to assist you. Our multidisciplinary team includes staff from many different specialties. The team evaluates the patient before surgery and provides education and treatmentafter surgery. Our team delivers medical, nutritional, and psychological care, and recommends lifestyle changes to help the patient live a healtier life.
Our team consists of the following members:
| Sophia J. Michailidis, D.O.
Bariatrician Dr. Michailidis received her Doctor of Osteopathy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Residencies in Family Medicine at Riverside Hospital in Delaware and Suburban General Hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Michailidis is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Board Eligible in Bariatric Medicine. She has had a special interest in nutrition and preventive care during her medical career. |

| Julie Kim, MD, FACS
Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Kim received her Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her Residency at Boston University Medical Center and her Fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Tufts Medical Center, both in Boston MA. Dr. Kim is Board Certified in Surgery. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. |

| Sajani N. Shah, MD, FACS Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Shah received her Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her Residency at SUNY Health Science Center in New York and her Fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. |

| Dana Eiesland, RD
Dietitian Dana Eiesland, RD, LDN received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of North Florida. She completed her dietetic internship at Mount Auburn Hospital with a focus on outpatient nutrition counseling and holds a certificate of training in adult weight management. Prior to working at Mount Auburn Weight Management Center, she worked as a Clinical Dietitian for the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida. Dana’s passions include educating, empowering, and guiding her patients toward making healthy lifestyle changes in order to achieve a healthy weight and improve their overall quality of life. In her free time she enjoys finding new and delicious recipes as well as yoga, swimming, and being active outdoors. |

| Isaac Greenberg Ph.D.
Psychologist Isaac received his Ph.D. at Syracuse University and spent his postdoctoral years studying drug addictions and behavior change. From this work, he became interested in weight control and its challenges. He then moved on to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he helped develop the obesity treatment program and then to Tufts Medical Center before coming here to Mount Auburn Hospital. Dr. Greenberg is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine. |

Sarah Larocque, MS, RD, LDN Sarah Larocque, MS, RD, LDN received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the University of Connecticut. Prior to working at Mount Auburn, Sarah was a Graduate Assistant for UConn. Employed as one of the outpatient dietitians for the campus, most of the students she worked with were interested in weight management. Sarah loves working with people to help them achieve their goals. During her free time she enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. |

| Richelle Paci
Medical Assistant Richelle has worked in the medical field for four years. As the Medical Assistant for the Weight Management Center, she will take your vital signs, and prepare you for each appointment with the clinical team. Richelle has over 20 years experience in customer service. She enjoys music, walking the beach and spending quality time with her family and friends. |

| Angelique King Medical Assistant Angelique has been working as a surgical technician and assisting in medical offices for 7 years. She joined the Weight Management Center in March of 2012. As one of the medical assistants at the Weight Management Center, she attends to patients in our surgical and medical program with weigh-ins, vitals and preparing patients for bariatric surgery and postop appointments. She knows and understands that maintaining a healthy weight can be challenging and hopes to be an inspiration in weight loss for our patients. She enjoys going to Celtic games and active outdoor activites with family and friends. |

| Madelyn Arroyo
Medical Secretary Madelyn has been working in the medical field for over five years. She is the first person you speak with and see when contacting our office. She also has over 10 years experience in customer service, which shows when she is interacting with patients. She does her best to make sure the patient has the best experience possible when in our office. During her free time she enjoys regular game/movie nights with her family. |

Cheryl Nicholls Cheryl Nicholls began her healthcare career at Mount Auburn Hospital in 1997 in Admitting and Occupational Health. After a brief time working at another downtown hospital, Cheryl returned to Mount Auburn in November 2011. Cheryl did most of her Education in Barbados where she achieved her Medical Secretary training certification. Cheryl has over 20 years experience working as a Medical Secretary, and a Billing, Coding and Customer Service Representative. Cheryl spends most of her free time taking care of two foster children aged 4 and 6 and guiding her 17 year old son. She enjoys reading inspirational books, traveling around the world and meeting and helping people. |
